I have a xml file encode in ISO-8859-15. When xml.dom parse this file, it
send this error : xml.parsers.exp at.ExpatError: not well-formed (invalid
token): line 9, column 46
Line 9 content some accent char. I would like solve this error.

You should correct the error in your XML file, by adding an xml header
to it.

I use xml.dom.minidom to parse some xml, but when input
contains some specific caracters(æ, ø and å), I get an
UnicodeEncodeError, like this:
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character
u'\xe6' in position 604: ordinal not in range(128).
How can I avoid this error?

Here is an example of the type of data from a file I will have:

The first position is the info (the product) I want to retreive for the
corresponding code. Assuming that the codes are unique for each product

Hi,
I keep getting the parser error, and I have no idea why. I've tried a
number of things including:
1)building/rebuilding about 100x
2)making sure all dll's are in the bin folder in the root of the web app
3)restarting IIS
4)recreating the virtual dir in IIS
5)playing with any and all settings I could find for the web app in IIS,
including changing permissions
6)recopying the machineconfig file from my asp v1.4... onto my local server

In .Net 1.1 SP1 Web services that raise exceptions that contain xml encodable
characters such as ",< etc. are displayed incorrectly.
For example the exception "The file "filename.txt" cannot be found" at the
server becomes "The file "filename.txt" cannot be found" at the client.
This is because of a double encoding bug in the faultstring generator with

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
