We just recently moved one of our major c# apps from VS Net 2002 to VS Net

appear.
So far ...

I have a custom control that builds what we refer to as "Formlets"
around some content in a page. These are basically content "wrapper"
sections that are tables that have a colored header and provide an
open TD with a DIV in it for the content of this formlet. (The DIV is
for DHTML to hide and show the content)
I've created a web page showing step by step the two problems I'm
encountering. This problem is much easier to see than it...

Having copied a number of folders from my development PC (XP) to a
development server (W2003) and installed them under wwwroot (and created
applications in IIS) I have problems when I include the corresponding asp.net
projects in a solution. They build fine but when attempting debug (via F5) I
get "Load of property 'Output Path' failed. The 'Output Path' must be under
the project folder". The really strange thing though is that two...

I've been very happy with the performance and new features of my site
since we converted to ASP.NET 2.0 beta 2.
I have noticed a couple of interesting problems, though, which I am
trying to figure out. I can't confirm that they didn't exist under
1.1, but I didn't notice them at that time.
My error handling is configured as follows:
- In IIS, 404 errors are mapped to /site/error/404.aspx.
- "Verify that file exists" is ON for .aspx...

Hi,
I recently downloaded source code for 8.0.0 beta1. When I tried building the libpq for windows, I got some compilation errors. Following the compilation output:

Hi,
I have what seems to be a common problem, but the solutions I've found don't
seem to work. I would like to use a web service to create a file at a UNC
location in a shared file. Currently I'm just running it locally and saving
the file locally using my machines UNC path.
I have given user ASPNET full control over the folder I want to write the
file to. I've also tried using the web config identity impersonation to use
my user...

Hello fellow python users,
I've been working on a basic implementation of a privilege separated
web server, and I've goto the point of running a basic cgi script.
Basically when the execCGI function in my Unpriv.py program is called a
few things should happen, it should fork (which it does), the stdout of
the child should be redirected to a given pipe (which it does), and the
script should execute using execve(which is has problems...

I'm running into problems trying to override __str__ on the path class
from Jason Orendorff's path module
(http://www.jorendorff.com/articles/python/path/src/path.py).
My first attempt to do this was as follows:
'''
class NormPath(path):
def __str__(self):
return 'overridden __str__: ' + path.__str__(self.normpath())

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
