Wanted: PyCon e-commerce site

[Apologies to those of you who see this multiple times]

We're starting to gear up for PyCon 2004, and we're looking for someone
willing to handle setting up an e-commerce site for handling
registration. If you're interested in taking on this responsibility,
please send e-mail to py************* *@mail.python.o rg

We'd like to have this site running by the end of September.

The PyCon organizers are trying to get more information about the things that got done at PyCon -- code written, project decisions made, etc. This is useful for figuring out which parts of the conference were the most useful, and for PR purposes. Please record your PyCon accomplishments at http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/moinmoin/PyCon2004Successes. Thanks! --amk

Pardon the Chicken Little-like introduction, but there's good news that doesn't seem to have penetrated (as far as my news server anyway) - please accept my apologies if you've already seen this. The PyCon organizers recently announced that the early bird registration deadline for PyCon 2006 has been extended (because of hotel booking issues) until JANUARY 15. This is the first time that PyCon has included tutorials (disclaimer: I am...

I've been looking over the mix of talk proposals we have so far for PyCon 2007. We're got 17 so far, with a good number of case histories. Now case histories are good, don't get me wrong, we want Python to be successful and it is interesting to hear how it is being used. But according to the feedback forms from last year, we need more talks that actually teach you how to be better programmers, especially if we want to bring new talent...

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
