win32 process information, using win32 extension

i need to get information about the processes running on a windows pc
(98, 2k, xp)

i can get the pid's using, win32process.En umProcesses().. .and I can get
a handle on a process using an id..such as

handle = win32api.OpenPr ocess(win32con. PROCESS_QUERY_I NFORMATION, 0,
pids[0])

...but how can i get the name of the process, path to process, etc. I
have the win32 extensions (pywin32) on python 2.4.

Hello Perl gurus, 1. I have a web page where I can push a button (dospawn.html). 2. This button calls a CGI script (spawnboss.cgi) 3. spawnboss.cgi calls a forking perl script (forkme.pl) 4. forkme.pl calls the process creation script (createme.pl) 5. createme.pl creates my notepad.exe process, but no window shows up on my PC. The result on my web browser is:

Hiho, could somebody please enlighten me about the mechanics of C callbacks to Python? My domain is more specifically callbacks from the win32 API, but I'm not sure that's where the problem lies. Here's a description... I want a callback-based MIDI input/processing, so PortMidi was not an alternative. I have written a C extension module that links to the mmsys MIDI API. I separated the win32-dependant code from the Python extension...

Hi all, I am newbie in Python, my wish would be to create python applications for both Linux/Win32. I am stucked on creating a function to get the Python install directory (and site-packages directory) with a 100% reliable method... My goal is to verify if an/several extension(s) are installed and to automatically install the missing ones on Linux or Win32.

In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
