RFC 1521 and missing binary Content-Transfer-Encoding in email module

Why email/Encoders.py is missing binary encoding. It should be there
according to RFC 1521:

encoding := "Content-Transfer-Encoding" ":" mechanism
mechanism := "7bit" ; case-insensitive
/ "quoted-printable"
/ "base64"
/ "8bit"
/ "binary"
/ x-token

Would it be difficult to make it up?

A.

I am using Oracle 9.2.0.4 on IBM AIX 5.1 L System. Our DB Server had IP of "100.101.102.103" and our Tomcat Application Server (IP of 200.201.202.203) used to talk to above DB onn Port 1521. The system was working great for 6 months or so. Then we changed our Netwok Locations of these Boxes and now both of them have different IP. DB IP: 1.2.3.4 App IP: 50.51.52.53

§27.4.2.1.4 Type ios_base::openmode Says this about the std::ios::binary openmode flag: *binary*: perform input and output in binary mode (as opposed to text mode) And that is basically _all_ it says about it. What the heck does the binary flag mean? -- If our hypothesis is about anything and not about some one or more particular things, then our deductions constitute mathematics. Thus mathematics may be defined as the subject in...

Hi all, I have a web app that exports a dataset to an XML file, the customer now wants this XML file to include media as well (Word, JPEG, bitmap and many other formats I might not expect). I've got the dataset exporting great, but I cannot figure out how to append multiple binary files in XML format. Using BinaryFormatter I have been able to simply append a chunk of Base64 encoded data to the end of the XML, but it needs to be...

Hello: I am receiving a Binary File in a Request from a application. The stream which comes to me has the boundary (Something like "---------------------------390C0F3E0099" without the quotes), and also some more text like this and file name (e.g. "Content-Disposition: form-data; name="upload_file"; filename="C:\testing\myfile.dat" Content-Type: application/octet-stream") The binary content starts after "application/octet-stream".

Is it possible to just build the binary content of a zip file. I want to create the content in memory (e.g. return binary data) and then get those byte strings representing the zip file? Is that possible? Or could I possibly override functions in the zip class. 1. Create a zip file object (e.g. dont actually create the file). 2. Append stuff to the zip file (e.g. a file) 3. Zip that content into memory (but still not touching the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
