Strange email.Parser error?

I am getting the following traceback after upgrading my app to Python
2.4.1. It's telling me that there is an error in Parser.py. It tells
me that 'fp.read(8192)' is given 2 arguments, but it is clearly not
true. Does anybody know what's going on here?

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/opt/etext/lib/python2.4/site-packages/etext/enqueue.py", line
252, in work
worker(e.linkva l, info)
File "/opt/etext/bin/etreceive", line 30, in worker
result = decode.searchfi le(f)

return Email(f)

msg = Parser().parse( f)
File "/opt/etext/lib/python2.4/email/Parser.py", line 65, in parse
data = fp.read(8192)
TypeError: read() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given)

Thanks,
Andre.

I've tried a number of things including: 1)building/rebuilding about 100x 2)making sure all dll's are in the bin folder in the root of the web app 3)restarting IIS 4)recreating the virtual dir in IIS 5)playing with any and all settings I could find for the web app in IIS, including changing permissions 6)recopying the machineconfig file from my asp v1.4... onto my local server

Hi, We work with email in a large CRM solution and one of the email-related tasks that has plagued us is our decision to make use of a 3rd-party local-sourcer to work on the parsing of inbound email. It would appear to be a simple exercise (writing a parser against a select few RFCs), but having someone write this component NIH (doing it by hand, instead of using a 3rd party component) has caused endless problems. We are hoping to right...

I am encountering two strange problems. First one: I get a "server misconfiguration error", but only sometimes. It occurs on the first screen that accesses the database on a submit. This error is intermittent -- sometimes it happens and sometimes not from the same screen with the same data. Here is the error:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
