Creating a subfolder within my ASP.NET application folder fails with the
above error, but only at my hosting provider. The command:
Directory.CreateDirectory(path)
Path is set to 'D:\appfolder\test2'. ASPNET has full control on the
application folder.
Any ideas why this fails?

My setup: Mac OS 10.4.4; mysql 4.x ... everything was installed and
working fine for some time. Today, I added drupal to my system and had
to create a new database in mysql -- now I am having some problems. I
will outline the problem, what I have tried to do to fix it, and what I
think caused it. Hope you can help and I am sorry this is long.
The problem: I can't login to mysql anymore with the "root" username
(which is where I have all...

I'm just learning C#. I'm writing a program (using Visual C# 2005 on
WinXP) to combine several files into one (HKSplit is a popular
freeware program that does this, but it requires all input and output
to be within one directory, and I want to be able to combine files
from different directories into another directory of my choice).
My program seems to work fine, but I'm wondering about this loop:
for (int i = 0; i < numFiles; i++)

Hi,
I'm using PHP 4.4.4 on Apache 2 on Fedora Core 5. PHP was installed
using Apache's apxs and the php library was installed to
/usr/local/php. However, when I set my "error_reporting" setting to be
"E_ALL", notices are still not getting reported. The perms on my file
are 664, with owner root and group root. The php.ini file is located
at /usr/local/lib/php/php.ini. Any ideas why the setting does not seem
to be having an effect? ...

This works with Strict Off
But not with Strict On
Sometimes I can figure out what is needed by running it and using QuickWatch
to see the type required but
GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & StrComputer & "\root\cimv2")
returns a value System._ComObject of Type Object

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
