We use a number of similar databases and frequently create a new
database using a backup restore of another similar database. We try to
keep changes between databases in _Additional tables - like Account
Additional, Sale_Additional so most tables stay the same. The latest
restored database (I'll call it DBaseA) is behaving differently in VB6
code and I need help trying to make it work.
I have been using use an ADODB.Command to execute...

in the web service?
Thank you very much.

Using an example in the Jan 2006 release of the Enterprise Library,
I came up with the code shown below to create a DAL method
for returning several columns of a single row. I place the output
parameter values in a comma-separated string, and then split
the string to get the individual values on the calling page. This
approach works, but I can't help but think there is a more
efficient way to accomplish this.
Thanks for any insight you...

Hi. I've written a small program to learn to write in C. But unfortunately the output is all jumbled up and not nice.
/* read_file.c
The whole point of this code is to read the entire content from a file then arrange the data as a single string. */
#include <stdio.h>
char* returnArrayFromFile(char* file_name) {
// Try opening a file

Hello.
I'm having difficulty getting the value of output parameters from stored
procedures on a SQL server.
I understand that this just doesn't work with odbc so I've tried both the
mssql functions route, and the PDO route. In both instances I can execute the
query and iterate over the result set, but in both cases the variable bound to
the output parameter isn't having it's value changed.
In my searches online I've come across...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
