Only when I use a proxy server, I'm getting this error when attempting to
write data to a Stream object from an HTTPWebRequest object.
(System.IO.Stream.Write() raises the exception):"An existing connection was
forcibly closed by the remote host". The error only happens with fairly
large amounts of data (around 24,500 bytes).

I'm designing a fairly involved database system. As part fo the process, I
use the \i command a great deal. I set up fairly involved queries,
sometimes simply for the purpose of shortening column names so the output
is reasonable. For example:
SELECT longname AS abbr,othername as "V" FROM table WHERE how;

Hi all!
I'm writing a script that presents the user with a numbered lines
menu, each line corresponding to a <case n> which executes a psql
command. As the psql-commands are very similar to each other (all of
them have the structure:
1.- psql mydb -x -c "SELECT * FROM tb_nm WHERE col_nm LIKE '%$k_r%'" )
I thought it was possible to shorten it, initializing a str with said

I haven't found a way to set the client encoding of a psql connection other
then "\encoding" which is arkward for batch processing. As .psqlrc is being
ignored during batch processing and the internal encoding is being set
*after* "-v", I have to resort to arkward solutions in order to read data via

We had one webserver based on a linux machine. The website is fully
function and designed by a different person. Now we moved the machine
from one IP to another one.
I changed the machine ip address and the website is working partially.
That site is working in between pages verywell. But once I give some
