Is it possible to get the 7.4.1 static docs in HTML form anymore?

Reason being I'd like to install them locally on my laptop so that when
I'm lap topping it, I still have docs without the need for an Internet
connection.

Regards.
Hadley

In v7.4.2 there is a /usr/local/pgsql/doc/html directory (created during
default installation process).

The documentation is always included in the release tarball.

Hi thanks, but I hadn't installed the doc package, then I found it under
/usr/share/doc/postgresql-7.4.1

I'm trying to find out whether g++ has a bug or not. Wait, don't leave, it's a standard C++ question, I promise. This program will compile and link fine under mingw/g++ 3.4.2, but fails to link under Linux/g++ 3.3.3. --------------------------------------------- #include <iostream> #include <utility>

Hello, Well, after an initial review of my database by my client, they have completely changed their minds about how they want their form. As a result, I'm having to re-think the whole process. My Current Form (6 tabs): - Owner, Property, Title, Docs, Queries, & Reports - User is able to see (while navigating through the tabs) above in the form : Owner Name, Address, Parcel, and SSN

I've encountered a troublesome inconsistency in the C-language Perl extension I've written for CPAN (Digest::SHA). The problem involves the use of a static array within a performance-critical transform function. When compiling under gcc on my big-endian PowerPC (Mac OS X), declaring this array as "static" DECREASES the transform throughput by around 5%. However, declaring it as "static" on gcc/Linux/Intel INCREASES the throughput by...

Hi, When I saw 'global static', the first response was there was no such term. But I realized it's an idiom later. When we learn C language, when we study C standard, when we study compiler, we use 'linkages of identifiers', 'storage-class specifier'. One of my friends said maybe we could use 'local static', :-) Who could tell me when/where 'global static' came from? Are there some other similar idioms?

I have a meetings section I'm developing on our intranet. Using PHP/MySQL. Meeting info and Meeting docs reside on 2 related tables in the db. Users may want to upload anywhere from 1 to 10 or more documents to share/use during a meeting presentation. What would be the most efficient way to approach this? This is the logic I'm currently considering: Page 1: Meeting Information input with link to a document upload page (this page...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
