If i create a new SQL login and give that login db ownership for a test db.
When that user adds my SQL Server through his own SQL EM, why does he/she
also see all other objects (databases, sql security logins, DTS, ...)?
Is there a way for the user to open SQL EM but only see his/her db and
nothing
more?

google archives of this newsgroup, but I still haven't been able to
find a clear explanation of an issue with multi-user databases.
Essentially I have two questions;
1) Does the system.mdw file have any significance to multi-user
sharing of an Access 97 database other than security?
2) Can any number of users open an Access 97 database using the same

Someone posted this official proposal to create
comp.databases.postgresql.general again. He wrote his own charter. As
far as I know, he did not consult any of the postgresql groups first.
There may be an upcoming vote on this, so please stay informed and read
news.newgroups.announce for updates.

I need to design a system which represents multiple "projects" in SQL
Server. Each project has the same data model, but is independent of all
others. My inclination is to use one database to store all projects.
Looking at the numbers involved, however, I wonder if I would get
better performance by storing each project in its own database.
