Gentlemen,
I am hoping to be able to use GForge on my windows PC. To that end I
have installed:
1. cygwin
2. reinstalled cygwin and selected cygipc, postgreSQL and a few other
things
3. PHP
4 Apache
5. downloaded and installed the GForge3 directory tree

I have install bin pack of PostgreSQL 7.3.1 on Windows 2000 Server,
i try to run it as LocalSystem User, but dosen't work I download libpq.dll
and put it on C:\Winnt\System32 but this don't help - what can I do to run
this service ??
When i try to do that I have error like this:
Can't find describe for id (0) in source ( PostgreSQL Server ). Mayby local
computer dosen't have required registry or dll files neaded to show message...

I'm now using Cygwin as my compiler for C code. I use Dev-c++ as my
editor.
The reason why I chose Cygwin compiler instead of the compiler that
came with Dev-C++ is that I believe it uses the same environment as in
Linux, so that I don't have to write different sourcecode for both OS.
Eventhough, I don't understand about Linux much, and I'm still a
beginner in programming, I still have to make my program compatible

I'm having troubles with ssh2_exec() agains SSH on Windows 2003.
I can connect from Linux/Apache2/Php5 to a Cygwin SSH service running
on Windows 2003 server.
(Actually, tested with the same Cygwin configuration on multiple
Windows 2003 servers)

Can you please let me know the procedure to reach db2 command prompt
from a cygwin window (hence without using Start-> Run -> db2cmd
method). I'm planning to write shell scripts which accesses DB2
database on windows platform hence I installed cygwin but I'm unable to
connect to database as it fails with the error message.

Am working on a Java application in which I have to use the JNI to Interface with some native code for both windows and unix. Am using netbeans IDE with the C/C++ pack installed. Am also using Cygwin as my compiler (gcc), this is ostensibly because I hope this compiler will also compile the unix native libraries since I don't have a Linux installation.
