Hello...
Our system uses JBoss 3.2 with MySQL. Part of the system
is a stats collection process that fires as a TimerListener
every 15 sec or so. It grabs some info and stuffs it into
a database.
Problem is that this part of the system is causing the
VM to run out of memory and die. I put JProfiler on it
and narrowed it down to the stats module and more

Hello everybody,
I've configured mySQL as datasource for JBoss. I've a problem, when JBoss
automaticaly generate a table for the bean. mySQL send an error. The fields
length is too long and a Blob field is attempted, the char field type is
limited to 255 characters and JBoss try to create a longuer field.
How can I do to pass over this error ?

im using the xml appender for log4j and just found out how to use jdbc
appender. Now i get all my system notifications into the database but
i want to get only the nessasery user-"actions". Jboss start, quit ...
and all other notifications and warnings should be ignored.
Does anybody have a good example how to create / define own loglevel?

Hello all,
Is it possible to pass 2 SQL statements in a single call ?
I keep SQL statements in a text file and usually there are couples of
several SQL statements that represent a named unit of job - for
example declaring a variable and do select using it. Than my java
program find the necessary job unit in a file and pass it to jdbc
driver.

In Java, you can use JBoss or similar to host EJB that will manage your
transactions for you. You could, of course, write your own transactions
using JDBC.
In .NET, we can specify our own transactions using ADO.NET. Is there a
compatible tool within .NET to JBoss, where the transactions are managed for
you?

Please, i can't compile my ejb classes in JBoss-4.0.5.GA or JBoss-4.0.2
after proper installation (because i can log on to the server
via http://localhost:8080/ after using "run.bat" at the jboss bin
directory, from windows DOS command-line).
