How can you figure out exactly where in the classpath a class is
located ?
For example, assume that my computer has a class
"com.MyCompany.MyClass" that is physically located in the jar-file
"c:\SomeDirectory\myJarfile.jar"
Also assume that this jar-file is included in my classpath environment
variable but there are also a lot of other jar-files and class
directories in the classpath...

Hi,
I have question about techniques of using files
in SQL Server in Web Application.
Assuming that I send files from my Web App ( client )
to server and located these files on hard disk ( on server ),
I'd like to view these files and I want to have possibilities
to open it.
How can I do it ?
My only one idea is :

What are my options for *securely* storing/retrieving the ID and password
used by an ASP.NET application for accessing a SQL Server (using SQL Server
authentication)? Please note that this ID and password would be different
than the one the user enters for ASP.NET forms authentication. The
ID/password in question is used by the application, itself, for accessing
the SQL Server.
Thanks in advance.

When my app starts up, it creates a temporary database. This temp database
is created from a 'model' database that is in the same folder as the
application. Because there is a model, the creation is essentially to just
copy the 'model' database and give it the name of the application with the
extension ".tmp".
Then code opens the temp database and links to the tables. This has always
worked flawlessly until today. Today, I needed to...

Hello..
My current architecture consists of a client and server; which are located quite near to each other.....and i am using database links to retrieve / send data from or to the server.
for eg. if i want to select rows from a table in the client database i use
" SELECT * FROM NAMES@DB_LINK_FOR_1 "
But now the distance between the client and server has increased hugely. Assume the distance to be of some 30 Kilometers. So how reliable are...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
