triggers and schemas

I'm working on some TRIGGERS and functions, and say that when a function is
called from a trigger it sets some nice variables like TG_RELNAME, but there
is no variable with the name of the schma. Will this change in 7.4?

Hi ! When I insert a new record to a table "table_A" I want to Grant a Role "Role_X" to the User "User_Y". So I made a Trigger who should do this work, but it doesn't: When I write: "GRANT Role_X TO User_Y" in the Trigger: --> my Trigger ist invalid (error = ora-04098) When I declare a varchar-Variable within the trigger, fill it with:

I'm just starting to use triggers in my databases and find the support in Enterpise Manager lacking. Using Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer you can maintain the triggers, but it's cumbersome. Are there better tools for creating and managing triggers? Mark Flippin

I'm trying to generate scrips for a database, and everything so far has worked fine, except for the triggers. When I try and script existing triggers, all I get is a blank file - no SQL script. I tried single files for each object, all in one file, triggers only, the entire database. I can't figure it out, but I know the triggers are there. Any suggestions, or am I missing something undocumented in SQL-Server 2000?

We have a partitioned view with 4 underlying tables. The view and each of the underlying tables are in seperate databases on the same server. Inserts and deletes on the view work fine. We then add insert and delete triggers to each of the underlying tables. The triggers modify a different set of tables in the same database as the view (different than the underlying table). The problem is those triggers aren't fired when inserting or...

Hi, I have a lot of schemas to load into a schema collection. I load them in by reading each one into a XMLTextReader from disk and add them into a schema collection. I have a couple of issues to contend with. 1. The targetnamespace on all the schemas (except ones which define generic types) are the same. 2. The DefaultNamespace is the same as the Targetnamespace (I think this should be ok) 3. Some of the schemas import other sschemas...

I am trying to make an animated Expander, that slides open and closed. It works fine, however when in put another Expander inside it, the triggers/routed events seem to get a little confused. When the child Expander is closed, it runs the CollapseMe Storyboard on the parent (even if the child doesn't have the Animated Template). Of course I don't want this to happen, because it's just weird. Can anyone help me please :)

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
