Hi,
Im having problems in randomly selecting an element in an array that
has not been selected before.. in other words, I have an array of
answers to questions, then I want to select 5, with one of them being
the correct answer to the question, and the others not..
Here is my code.. (I already have the correct answer at array position
)

Quite a few algortihms prominently feature choosing/removing a single random
element from a set at a time. On first sight I can't think of anything better
to achieve this with `sets.Set` than something along the lines of:
for dummy, randomElement in zip(range(randrange(len(s)+1)), s): pass
# possibly followed by
s.remove(randomElement)

Is there a way to get random rows besides ORDER BY random()? The problem with ORDER BY
random() is that is has to get all the rows from the table before the results are returned.

Hello,
I'm trying to retrieve a limited number of random rows, and order them by a
column, and am not having any luck with that last part:
SELECT * FROM tablename ORDER BY random(), id LIMIT 10
Returns everything more or less as expected, except for the fact that the
results aren't sorted by "id" ...

My users are complaining about the page refreshing when they are
selecting multiple rows in a datagrid. Has anyone tried to manage this
using javascript?
I tried smartnavigation but that caused me other problems.
Any ideas?
