Hello Everyone:
I'm looking for a good beginning to intermediate PHP book.
I have read Php, MySQL and Apache by Julie C. Meloni.
What I want is a book that can teach me how to build templates for websites ie blogs sites (WordPress) or forum sites

thanks

Well we hardly read books anymore. hence your on a forum, that's where most of us get our knowledge and online resources.

Google: tutorial wordpress template

and you should get some results and save the money for food. or donate it to the site that gave you the best info.

Peace,

I find online tutorials and online help extremely useful and I use these most of the time. But when it comes to learning something completely new, I do like to buy a book to learn the basics.

And when I do go out to locate a book to read, be it about PHP or MySQL or, in my case as of late, C#, I generally look at what O'Reilly has to offer, as this publishing house seems to me to always have informative, easy to read books on software related issues. Take a look, for example via Amazon, what they offer for PHP.
