what ftp site to get the PHP software? I use linux ftp command but can not find correct ftp location

Thanks. I knew that was the download site if you have a browser but all I
have is FTP on linux server. I try to go there using FTP and it indicates
"can not make connection."

So I am looking for the site that is available to linux command line FTP
client. Thanks.
