How do I use VBA to insert a *new* record into a subform?
I have a master form with client information, and a sub form with billing
information. I want to click on a button ("Add Data") and have a record
inserted into the subform's table, with date created and some information
from the main table inserted into the proper fields in the subform.

Hi to all,
I am displaying a list of records in a subform which is embedded in a
popup main form (in order to ensure that users close the form when
leaving it).
It seems to be impossible to delete a record in this subform.
When I switched modal off and tried to delete a record from the list,
I deleted a record on another form (below the popup form).

I have built a database with a <Mainform> and a <Subform>. My problem is
twofold.
1. My subform is set as a continuos form with AllowAddiotions set to NO (ie.
a list of Issues to the client on the mainform)
2. To add new issues, a button is used and a pop-up form is used to add an

I wanted to make a multiple selection drop down list and I found the
easiest way to do this was by creating a subform linked to a table
with 2 values, the 1st value links to the main form and the 2nd value
stores the results. The drop down list does a select function and you
can therefore select the value from it and a new drop down box
immediately appears below it and you can choose more values. But, I

error msg " An error occured while referencing the object. You tried to
run a visual basic procedure that improperly references a property or

This msg occurs everytime I add a new record to a subform. If I close
msgbox I can then successfully add new record.
Have looked on MS Technet and tried their 2 suggestions:-
1)LinkChildFields property contains the name of a form property - this

I have a mainform with a subform in which I show some task summary
data.
On the mainform I have a number of unbound controls that reflect values
relevant to each task in the subform. The unbound controls are
populated in the subform's OnCurrent even from a number of different
tables related to the records in tbl_tasks, which is the recordset

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
