not able to insert/update mysql keywords in database

I am using codeigniter and i have something like '.....you may insert keywords into the title of a page where....' in the field. I am not able to save or update it because of the insert word in the field. the same thing happens when i use update n other keywords. it is not possible to skip those words as they are really important.
Please help me to get out of it.
Thanks

Depending on what engine you're using, you can use a delineator. Try the ` or bracket [] characters to delineate a string as an object.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT `select` FROM someTable

Got a simple problem. I code some site and because Im a freak I made my own session-handling. When a user open up my site it will check if there is a ssid in the url if not generate one. this will be done by a function generate_ssid() and works fine. next step is to register the ssid in the table session this will be done by the following code: ************************************************************************* function...

I want to be able to generate SQL statements that will go through a list of data, effectively row by row, enquire on the database if this exists in the selected table- If it exists, then the colums must be UPDATED, if not, they must be INSERTED. Logically then, I would like to SELECT * FROM <TABLE> WHERE ....<Values entered here>, and then IF FOUND UPDATE <TABLE> SET .... <Values entered here> ELSE INSERT INTO <TABLE> VALUES <Values...

Hello, I have created 3 functions to insert, update and delete an Access database record. The Insert and the Delete code are working fine. The update is not. I checked and my database has all the necessary records in it when testing it. I get the error "No value given for one or more required parameters." when I try to update the database. Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?

I have an application that needs to insert nulls into the database and I don't seem to be able to do this. I am currently trying to do this with a Typed DataSet but I can't seem to Insert Nulls (or udpate columns with a null value). I have a column in a test table called 'anInteger'. The Typed DataSet for this element has minOccurs="0" and the type = xs:int. To set this field to null I call the SetanIntegerNull method of my typed...

hello I'm looking for some functions or objects allowing to select-insert-update-delete from any table in a mysql database without the need to create a new query every time. So as you all know the great thing about ADO.NET is that I can take an entire table from a database and dump it into an in memory datatable using ADO.NET. Well my question is that now that I have this temporary table, is it possible to run SQL commands against it like it were an "actual" table. To give a simplistic example, lets say I have a table in my SQL Server database called "Customers" that contains 2 columns (CustomerID,

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
