Got another trouble now, everything is working fine, but the popup windows and the modules are with strange characters, does anyone knows what is it?

in most cases it is a charset mismatch.

Here: http://mghospedagem.com/catalog/create_account.php

Just click in "continuar" and u will see the popup with strange chars, but the whole is correct, I mean the another parts with special chars (ç, í, à).

Javascript alerts do not (as far as I know) format the text in them. Instead of using the html entities, try using the actual characters.

I'm using
define('CHARSET ', 'iso-8859-1');
In both languages files (catalog and admin)

Everything is working fine on the site, I mean, everycharset, but just the part of popups and modules has strange chars.

Anyone know of any decent PHP/MySQL OSS ecommerce packages other than osCommerce and ZenCart? From what I've seen of ZenCart it just appears to be a fork of osCommerce and having now set a site up with osCommerce I have seen what a mess it is. It's great if you're happy just using the default layout but I wanted to use a nice customised design and hacking it into osCommerce has been too much hard work. If there isn't much else around...

(i prefer the look and feel options of zen cart) also, how does one go about updating both packages? say i install the latest version of zencart and creat a live site, then a much better version comes out... is it possible to upgrade the live site? i know in oscommerce i have to make changes to some of the includes/ files, surely these would...

Hello everybody, I have an osCommerce shopping cart on my site, which is an open-source product that uses php. I'm very new to php. I also have an online scheduling application that I outsourced to a third party, which resides on a different server. I asked my scheduling provider if there was anyway I could use my osCommerce php registration for thier registration so I could avoid having visitors to the site register and sign-in twice,...

Does anyone know if oscommerce has a module to support Verisign's Payflow Pro? I downloaded the one listed as "pro" here http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,167/category,1/search,verisign], and the documentation talks only about Payflow Link. Has anyone used this module? Does it work with Payflow Pro as well? If anyone knows for sure that oscommerce doesnt' work with Payflow Pro, could you point me to other free...

Okay, I've fiddled with this and I'm not passing judgment. If this application is great and there's just something I don't know, I'd love to learn. Item: Customizations (other than simple layout/color stuff) seem to be really hairy. If I want to add a field to the customer info I collect, I have to hand hack numerous scripts Item: there is a catalog/includes/configure.php that can be overridden by

Hello all, I am working on an application that is basically a bridge between oscommerce and gallery2 software, with some other functionality. It will allow users to port all of their media from gallery2 into oscommrce, complete with rights definitions and watermarking. I have spent a lot of time on this application, and I am thinking of selling it as part of a bundled package with creloaded and gallery2.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
