Dear All,
somehow I remember that such or similar question was discussed already
somewhere. But I can't find it anymore.
I have a template calling itself. As long it goes deeper into the
hierarchy (by the key) I can set the CurrentY parameter by itself +
some constant correctly. Hence which each call the CurrentY gets
bigger.
But when the template reaches a leave and the caller is poped from

Hi,
Are there any built in or known structures I can use in Postgres to represent a family tree?
The usual tree representations in SQL are for regular hierarchy of data, but on a family each node had usually 2 parents and a few child nodes. What will be the best way to represent something like this in an efficient manner?
Guy.

Hi All,
I've got a VB.NET 2005 solution composed of 3 projects a Client, a
DLL, and a Windows Service. I'd like to create an install package that
would install the whole solution (i.e. its 3 project) in one go. How
could I do that?
PS: I don't particularly want the Windows Service to self-register.
I'm fine with the user having to run installutil.exe to register the
service.

Hi everybody,
I have an application that works for IE. I used treeview.htc to create
a tree view. And I want my client side code to work with linux based
operating systems. So the code should work on firefox or other gecko
browsers. Sample code for IE is like the following:
<HTML XMLNS:mytree >
<HEAD><?IMPORT NAMESPACE="mytree" IMPLEMENTATION="./treeview.htc"/>
<TITLE>Something</TITLE>

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
