ServerName localhost
DocumentRoot "C:/FoxServ/www/"
........

NameVirtualHost *

<VirtualHost *>
ServerName serwer1
DocumentRoot /www/serwer1
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *>
ServerName serwer2
DocumentRoot /www/serwer2
</VirtualHost>

the apache window saysno errors

and nothing happens when i write

I've just installed foxserv on windows XP but i don't know how to get a .php file working. I expected as soon as my computer worked as a serve I would be able to double click on a .php file and got it running but I cant.

Hi, using jetty 4.2.9 on redhat with sun jdk 1.4.2_01-b06 When using virtual hosts the java process dies after a few minutes while the CPU load goes slowly from 100% to zero (e-function?) on that process. Without virtual hosts jetty usually runs for months (no restarts necessary) on this setup. There is nothing unusual in the logs or stdout/stderr during that.

Hi, I'm trying to get mod_python working on my web server, but I'm running into problems, possibly due to having virtual hosts configured. I'm no apache guru (newbie is more accurate!) so I could easily be doing something wrong. The apache configuration is further complicated by having an include file for each virtual host, so the config isn't actually *in* the main apache conf file!

I'm using PHP 5.1.1 with Apache 2.0.54 and several virtual hosts. PHP is installed as a module. I've created a very simple test page containing <?php phpinfo(); ?> and placed it at the doc root of three of my hosts. The main site hosted by Apache executes the page perfectly and displays the expected output. None of my virtual hosts, however, will execute the page. The virtual hosts attempt to load the page for a long time, then...

On my development computer, I have virtual named host set up, like www.site1.lab. When I upload those to my web site for customer review under mywebsite.com/clients/site1/ it throws some of the source file references off and it does not work properly. My references are like: require_once($_SERVER."/utility/top.php");

When I make a new website, during development I create a new virtual domain definition (using a temporary, made-up name) in apache's configuration, and then bounce my server. Then, on the client linux box I use for development, I can add a line to my local /etc/hosts file that looks like the following: 12.345.678.901 my-made-up-domain-name.com

Does stream_socket_client use the /etc/hosts file? I'm using Mac OSX 10.5.3 as a development platform and VMware Fusion for VM hosting. I have a OpenSUSE Linux VM that has an Apache 2 web server with multiple named virtual hosts. I use the Macs /etc/hosts file to provide DNS resolution for the development web sites. I can ping the DNS names and browse to them with no issues. For example: ping dev.example.com Works no problem (resolves...

Hi, I've got Apache set up with some virtual hosts, each one producing it's own log file. However PHP uses the same log file for everything. I'm looking for a way to configure Apache and PHP so that the different virtual hosts use different PHP log files. For example, I keep third-party PHP apps in available through one virtual host, and my own apps in another. Therefore, I want one PHP log file for third-party

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
