Hi all ,
I'm using CDO from my vb component to fire email. The problem is
whenever one of the email addresses in to, or cc is wrong then none of
the mails are fired even to the correct addresses. It gives an error
like
The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server
response was: 550 Relaying denied for <xfd@wre.com>

I have a service that needs to send e-mail alerts. I have been attempting
to use the System.Net.Mail function from .NET but this seems to require the
IIS be installed and running. Since some of my customers are not really
happy with having the IIS installed, not being used except to send e-mail
this is becoming a problem.
I have also tried using a little program from code project for sending
e-mail which works great on older servers...

Sometimes I get this error when testing web.mail:
The server rejected one or more recipient addresses
The server response was: 473 kjhg@Kjhg.com relaying prohibited. You should
authenticate first
This goes away when I simply put a try/catch around sending email, but I'm
wondering if I can use this to my advantage -- come back to the user saying
their email is invalid, try again?
I'm asking if this is a good method, since I'm a little...

I've set up the virtual smtp server on my IIS 5.1 like so:
1. Assign IP address to "All Unassigned", and listen to port 25.
2. Access Connection granted to "127.0.0.1".
3. Relay only allow "127.0.0.1".
4. Authentication: "Anonymous access" only.
5. Outbound connection listen to TCP 25.

The IIS server is running on the local machine.

I am experiencing an inconsistency with System.Net.Mail.
I have a web form on a site. The form gets filled, and one copy gets
sent to the recipient (info@domain.com). This works just fine.
However, I want a summarized e-mail (with slightly different content) to
get sent to the sender, and this fails unless the “sender”has their
domain name on the same server.
Essentially, it has the following problem:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
