Using Oracle 11g with PHP 5 (or 6)

I'm in the process of upgrading my Oracle 8i to either Oracle 10g or
even go straigt to Oracle 11g to use along with my PHP pages.
My question is: is anyone using Oracle 11g with PHP 5 or even PHP 6?
Any comments, any problems when compared to PHP 4 with Oracle 8i?

cheers,
Khalid

Started with 8i and PHP4, currently using 10g and PHP5. Have used AdoDB
in between all the time so upgrades have been nearly seamless.

Hello all, I am developing an interface system for an application I was written. This interface will connect to other system to share information. I would like to use xml and xsl to generically describe each interface. The trouble I am having is that it seem that if you export in xml by table then it is impossible to combine the xml tables files back together in a hierarchical fashion. I can do it programmatically but I would like to...

We have applications that must connect to oracle databases. Is there a way to connect using .NET that does not require installation of the Oracle client on each PC? I'm pretty sure java apps do not require the Oracle client. I'm hoping .NET has some way of doing this as well. If not, does anyone know of a way to incorporate the oracle client install with a .NET application install? I guess I'm looking ofr some kind of merge module...

I would like to apologize if there is an answer out there (I've looked at quite a few threads). So here is the situation: Currently, I have been using Oracle Toad from Quest Software to connect to the...

Using Subqueries ================== The sub query is often referred to as a nested SELECT, Sub - SELECT, or inner SELECT statement. The sub query executes once before the main query. The result of the sub query is used by the main query (outer Query). You can place the sub query in a number of SQL clauses. WHERE clause

PRAGMA:-Signifies that the statement is a pragma (compiler directive). Pragmas are processed at compile time, not at run time. They pass information to the compiler. A pragma is an instruction to the Oracle compiler that tells it to do something. In this case you are telling Oracle to associate an error that you choose to a variable that you choose. This pragma must go in the declarative section of your block. Types of PRAGMA...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
