Its pretty damned simple really. The php online manual gives many
examples of this.
Or my the O'Reilly Mysql book for more advanced SQL statements and their
syntax. This thread has been closed and replies have been disabled. Please start a new discussion. Similar topics |

testOfSetupScript and then I create a database user named setup.
I write some PHP code which should, I think, be able to to auto create
the tables.

I'm basing some work on Joe Celko's excellent idea of using nested sets
to represent an organizational structure as opposed to an adjacency
list. By and large it's a great idea, but not without its pitfalls. I'm
writing now to ask your collective opinion of the best practice.
I've got my nested set table, and since the left bound is unique, I'm
using it as a foreign key to the table that contains assignment
information. The problem is...

Hi!
I try to figure out how to use a nested "SELECT" statement after the
"IN" predicate. For example, when I try this code, it doesn't return
anything although it should:
SELECT book.IDLivre, aut.Prenom, aut.Nom FROM livre book, livreEcritPar
ecr, auteur aut WHERE ecr.IDLivre = book.IDLivre AND aut.IDAuteur =
ecr.IDAuteur AND book.IDLivre IN ("SELECT book.IDLivre FROM livre book,

I managed to get it installed OK, along side MS Visual Studio 2005

installed everything.
I have developed a number of applications using MySQL v 5 and

installing it, and running through several tutorials, I generally like
what I see, but there are a few issues (so far - I am sure others will

I'm setting up an auction website using PHP and MySQL. There in the
section where logged in members can put up new auction in a form, I
want to run a form validation where I used if else statements to check
the fileds filled. In the form page there are two radio buttons -
fixed and auction - (only one can be chosen) and depend upon which one
is chosen some text should be inserted in the text fields. For that
I'm using a validation where...

The docs say:
A suite can be one or more semicolon-separated simple statements on
the same line as the header, following the header's colon, or it can
be one or more indented statements on subsequent lines. Only the
latter form of suite can contain nested compound statements; the
following is illegal, mostly because it wouldn't be clear to which if
clause a following else clause would belong:
if test1: if test2: print x

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
