G'day all,
I want to load comma sep text files and display it in a grid. I'd like
something simple and lightweight. Don't need to edit it in grid, I could
do that in textboxes if required.

I'm in need of a good lightweight video playback DLL.
Windows Media Player is too finicky with video streams - certain corrupted
streams won't play (but play fine via DirectX). Does anyone have a
recommendation on a good video player?
I've tried Managed DirectX AudioVideoPlayback - but it's locks my threads.
I'm going to give NCT Video Studio a try, but it's a bit expensive. Windows
Media SDK is too picky about the video stream.

Dear all,
I'm using XML in a project. This is a very simple and small file that
follows an even simpler XSD schema. I've found a lightweight library
(TinyXML) to read and access the contents of the XML file in C++.
Now I'm looking for something similar to validate a given XML file
agains a XSD schema. This library should:
- be lightweight (!)
- thus not depend on xerces, MSXML and similar
- cross-platform (g++) compatible
- can use STL...

Hey, I'm looking for a good Python environment. That is, at least an
editor and a debugger, and it should run on Windows. Does anyone have
any idea?

I'm still learning python and would like to know what's a good way of
organizing code.
I am writing some scripts to scrape a number of different website that
hold similar information and then collating it all together. Obviously
each site needs to be handled differently, but once the information is
collected then more generic functions can be used.
Is it best to have it all in one script or split it into per site
scripts that can then...

What I like about the C++ object model: that the data portion of the
class
IS the object (dereferencing an object gets you the data of a POD
object).
What I don't like about the C++ object model: that most OO features
are not
available for class object design without loss of POD-ness.
So, I'm more than leaning toward "bad" because of the limitations and

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
