Hi,
I'm trying to load a schema into an XmlSchema object with the Read and
Compile methods. I use Read with a ValidationEventHandler. No errors
occurs but when I look at the XmlSchema properties it contains
NOTHING. The schema file is correct because I can use it to validate
xmldocuments with the XMLValidatingReader. What am I doing wrong here?

I'm creating a class (using VB.NET) that must read data from a
database table during instantiation. If the data cannot be read
(connection problem, etc.), I want the instantiation to fail such that
the following "If" statement will evaluate to True:
Dim objGribble as New cGribble()
If objGribble Is Nothing Then ...
What code in the class's constructor (Sub New) would make that happen?

I ran into memory problems while tying to search and replace a very large
text file. To solve this I break the file up into chunks and run the search
and replace on each chunk. This works fine and has solved the OutOfMemory
problem.
