I have been using MySql as the database using JSP's and JavaBeans but
recently I have wanted to start using the database connection pooling
mechanism built into TomCat. I think I am having a problem with
defining my JDBC resource within Tomcat. I am pretty sure that my code
is
correct (but I am not certain), and the problem is with defining the
resource in Tomcat. Has anyone done this before? Any advice would be
helpful.

I have a requirement to put a GDI style circle or rectangle border around
the selected row of a datagrid/ It will overlap into the row above and below
the selected row. Doing this in a the OnPaint of a subclassed
DataGridTextBoxColum dos not seem like a practical way to do it.

Hi all,
I am having trouble converting the code below (found on
http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?code/core/sendmessage.htm) into a
format that will work using vb .NET.
Can anyone have a look at it and let me know what I need to change. I
have tried changing the "hwnd" type into intptr's but there seem to be
other problems too, like it won't allow "lParam As Any" to be
declared.

classes that are subclassed by module packages that act like plugins...
I'd like the packages to define a file path for supporting files
(graphics, etc) that are stored inside the package. The problem is that
the superclass's definition (stored elsewhere) has all of the code for
actually opening the files, so when I use the
os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__file__))...

I am overriding WncProc to make sure my form's location stays within

screen and not be off to either of the sides. All that works when the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
