Does PHP support multiple inheritence?

Does PHP support multiple inheritence?

If not, how would one workaround it when one needs a class to inherit
from multiple classes?

Yes... well, kind of. See the aggregate() function in the manual -- it
provides a very good approximation of multiple inheritance.

Why not?
Probably because most of the time multiple inheritance is grossly misused.

Its interesting to know that We can create multiple interfaces in a single class in visiual studio 6.0 ATL. But I am surprised to see that we can't create the same in Visual studio .Net. In .Net Every Class must have only one Interface. I need to create multiple interfaces in a single class so that I can have only one CLSID and client should call coCreateInstance only once. If any body has worked in this in .Net then pls let me know the...

Hello Experts! I just play around just to try to understand this about multiple inheritance. You have all the class definition below and at the bottom you have the main program. So here I use multiple inheritance. One top class called MBase and below this we have D1 and D2 on the same level.

This might be slightly off-topic. Many books on C++ consider multiple inheritence as an "advanced" concept. Bruce Eckel says in TICPP, volume 2 that "there was (and still is) a lot of disagreement about whether is essential in C++". Are there any disadvantages of using multiple inheritence?

I just read a blurb in MSDN under the C++ "ref" keyword which states that: "Under the CLR object model, only public single inheritance is supported". Does this mean that no .NET class can ever support multiple inheritance. In C++ for instance I noticed that the compiler flags an error if you use the "ref" keyword on a class with multiple base classes. This supports the above quote. However, under the "CodeClass2.Bases" property (part...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
