Hi
I'm customising phpNuke as an intranet application. The client would
like the option of letting users post news stories without
administrators' approval, so I've added a function to the theme.
It just inserts into nuke_stories the contents of nuke_queue, then
empties the latter.
I know it's rough and ready. Are there any database integrity issues

Hi folks...
I just installed phpnuke, and it's a great program. One problem is
the Splatt forum really stinks. I'd LOVE to replace it with phpBB,
but I'm not sure how. Can someone tell me if this is possible?
Some of the problems I'm finding with Splatt are it doesn't work well
with various themes. Plus, IMO it's not organized looking or as
funcational as phpBB. I'm a newbie with phpNuke, but not with PHP,
web programming, or...

Hi folks,
I downloaded PHP-Nuke 6.7, and after reading the INSTALL file, it
looks very simple... but either i'm reading them wrong or they're very
flawed.
First, it says:
Untar the package into the directory you want to use on you web
server, if you're unsure where that is, ask you system administrator.

My experience in the past has been with Vignette as a content management
solution for use especially with sites that need to deliver "human
translation" multilingual content. Does PHPNuke offer the same solution?

There have been several messages on newsgroups about problems with
phpNUKE related to a post-installation error of:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in
/<serverpath-to-phpnuke>/db/db.php on line 88
Well, I figured out the problem, so I'm posting it here.
ANSWER: You don't have your database configured correctly is the short
answer, and I can't help you there except that it is most likely one

Hey folks... I have a standalone phpBB forums and just recently installed
PHPNuke on my website. I know phpnuke comes with it's own version of phpBB.
How can I make it possible for members who register through phpnuke to
automatically be register with my standalone phpBB?
If this is not possible, how can I transport my standalone phpbb to the one
that is included with PHPNuke?
(I've visited both phpbb forums and phpnuke forums and...

I copied over the phpnuke html files (latest version from sourceforge),
created a mysql DB, added the settinsg to the config file.
Anything else I need to do?
When I run admin.php, I get a completely blank page. Looking at the html
source in the, it is a valid html file but with no content at all.
Any ideas?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
