SOAP via SSL

Hi,

I want to access a Lotus Notes Database via SOAP.

PHP Version is 5.2.0, OpenSSL support is active (OpenSSL Version
OpenSSL 0.9.7e 25 Oct 2004)

But I get this error message:

Warning: SoapClient::Soa pClient() [function.SoapCl ient-SoapClient]:
Unable to set private key file `test.cer' in
/abbreviated/soap-test/index.php on line 7

Warning: SoapClient::Soa pClient() [function.SoapCl ient-SoapClient]:

Fatal error: Uncaught SoapFault exception: [WSDL] SOAP-ERROR: Parsing

/abbreviated/soap-test/index.php(7):
SoapClient->SoapClient('ht tps://notes.s...', Array) #1 {main} thrown in
/abbreviated/soap-test/index.php on line 7
Here is my code snippet:
<?php
$wsdl = 'https://notes.domain.tl d/samson/samain20.nsf/Partner?WSDL';
$options = array(
'local_cert' ='./test.cer',
);

$client = new SoapClient($wsd l, $options);
?>

The aquired the certificate with "openssl s_client -showcerts -connect
notes.domain.tl d:443"

My question is now, wether I made a mistake or the SOAP server doesn't
work properly. But when I access the WSDL file via browser, I get a
valid XML file back.

Any ideas for me?

Thx
Peter

Problem solved:
<?php
$wsdl = 'https://notes.domain.tl d/samson/samain20.nsf/Partner?WSDL';
$client = new SoapClient($wsd l);
?>
There is no need to include the certificate!

Cheers
Peter

Hi, As was pointed out whatever you return from a WebMethod needs to be serializable to SOAP. An ArrayList is not serializable. I will be needing to return other data types from web methods. Is there a document, or can some one list those types that are not serializable and the syntax for converting them? Thanks

Ok, simple question: from a VB.Net web service (as I've said before, I'm a newbie to SOAP), how would I get the SOAP body into a string? My boss and I concur that it, at least from our perspective, should be as simple as defining an object and viewing a parameter on that object. My boss has worked with it and I'm still tryin'... Hi, I'm trying to get the Perl SOAP::Lite examples to work on a Windows PC, running Apache 2.2.4. Apache is definitely serving CGI scripts, as I've tested a dummy Hello World thing. I'm also definitely getting a hit when I use a browser to get to my hibye.cgi server (well, a blank page rather than a 404). However, when I run my hibye.pl client, I receive a 503 Service Unavailable at H:\scripts\hibye.pl line 25. It works when I...

Hi, I have been working on a script that loops through multiple records and sends data (one record per call) to a WS. I am supposed to make a new call for each record before sending the data. The problem I have is the first record gets processed fine where as the second record always; reason being the EAI expects it to be a seperate call Though I am creating/reseting a new service everytime within the foreach loop the data seems to be...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
