Ok I found it, it is a 2002 (latest version) PHP test kit. You can download it from sourceforge.com . Don't know if a manual is included.

I can't find PHP manual suitable for downloading on php.net. On http://www.php.net/docs.php there's a link to http://www.php.net/download-docs.php, and I just don't see an English version there... I'd like to write to a log whenever a visitor to my site downloads a file. So, I'd like the link they click to be to a php 'page' that returns the file. Don't know how to do that! Side Question ... Presumably, the dialog that you see when you download a binary (asking for a 'Save As...' file name) is put up by your browser when it 'sees' non-text data coming back as a response? So, how would you download a text file - and cause...

Is there any way to track completion of a download with PHP? I would like to be able to check if a download completed successfully. My first thought is that I might need to use an applet? Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a set of jpg files on a page. I want to give the user the option to downloadd all of them at once. What is the code to do that? It must exist because many times users are presented with a download button and there must be something behind it. Even if it is one file at a time, I can loop through the list. As for a name, I can use the current name and if it is one at a time, then the user can name each one. Alternatively, I...

Hi guys, I'm using Classic ASP, IIS6, IE 7, FF 3 I've developed a vb script to downloand files hosted in my server (zip, doc, pdf, jpg, xls, et. etc.) it's very straight forward and there's a lot of information around the web, however when it comes to dowload files from a remote server (NOT hosted in my server) there is no information :-(, the idea is to have an Access DB that stores the full url...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
