You can call subversion commands using the system or exec or passthru
calls. for example
system("cvs commit $FILE_NAME")

I have a patch that allows pydoc to deal with Subversion (http://www.subversion.tigris.org) style version strings. Subversion does not do '$Revsion: num$' style tags. The closest it will get is '$Rev: num$'. So, I included a check for that type as well. It's a patch to this version of pydoc.py __version__ = "$Revision: 1.86.8.1 $"

Hi, Anyone know of a good hosting company that offers both server-side Python and a subversion repository? I know of one: www.textdrive.com - they're a bit pricey, but I s'pose you gets what you pays for - they look good. Just FYI - right now I'm with sapphiresoft.co.uk. They're cheap and in my brief experience have been pretty good at...

Hi, I'm trying to setup viewcvs to work with subversion 1.2.0 on Linux with Python 2.4.1. The last viewcvs (from CVS) needs subversion python bindings. I installed swig and built subversion from source with it. Everything works fine until I try to build the Python bindings. When I try "make swig-py" I get the following, Python related,...

I'm trying to write a basic Subversion client because I need to integrate Subversion with a product that keeps source code in a database (so it has no notion of "working copy"). I have tried to translate the simple C examples in Garrett Rooney's book into Python, but the very clever SWIG stuff has made the Python access so different from...

I'm trying to get Subversion 'hook scripts' working on an Ubuntu box and the following fails. from svn import fs, repos, core, delta As far as I can tell there are two Python Subversion libraries, 'pysvn' and 'svn': 'pysvn' from http://pysvn.tigris.org/ appears to be a client side interface and isn't what I need. 'svn' appears to be a...

I’ve been using Subversion for a while to maintain the PHP web apps and sites I develop in my Windows box. But when I want to publish a new release I update the live site manually and I want to improve this process. I can’t simply export to a fresh directory and upload all files because that won’t handle renames and deletions (and the upload...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
