Help! Moving a PHPNuke website

PjH
Newbie alert, here, so I apologise in advance.

I have a website hosted with one company, under one domain, that needs
to be moved to another host, and under another domain name.

I've tried moving the files, I've tried installing PHP Nuke through
CPanel, and I've tried copying databases exported using phpMyAdmin,
but nothing seems to work.

Help? I'm out of my depth now...

The site is hardly a high traffic business critical cite
(http://devil-star.com/pbmain/) but it would be good to save
everything (members, forum posts, stories) rather than starting fresh.
I have full FTP and CPanel access on both domains, so any help you
could offer would be appreciated.

What doesn't work? Rather than what it doesn't, what does it DO?

Traditionally I like to install a fresh copy of these things, then transfer
the data once I've got a virgin installation running. At least there are
instructions for installation...

Well i cant help, but i thought about the following, *usually* the new
hosting company helps transfering data from old hosting company.

Have you tryed that already? also, for PHP-Nuke you should check that they
have *all* the needed/used PHP extensions installed that you had on your
previous hosting company.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
