Problem:
I need to get the value of auto-incremented field from just inserted
record
In Oracle this is INSERT .. RETURNING command.
In SQL Server there are @@IDENTITY, IDENT_CURRENT, SCOPE_IDENTITY
- @@IDENTITY returns the value from the very LAST insert on any table

Hello I am new to internet programming and wonder if anyone can help me with
this....
I am trying to pass a hidden field value on a form into another field on the
form so that it can then be inserted in the database, to enable me then to
reference that number at a later date.
(The hidden value (1 for example) would then automatically get passed to the
other input field.)

How do I deal with this? I am getting an error for each get in the
Game class (see code below).
In the simplified example below I have reduced this to just 3 fields,
one which can be NULL. I have added 3 records to the table and ran the

I am trying to find some information or an example on how to build a
dynamic query in DB2 that would allow me to join a table which its name
is stored as a field value on another table.
I have done this in the past in SQL server, but DB2 is not as easy...

I have a SQL stored procedure for adding a new record in a transactions
table. It also has two return values: CounterID and IDKey.
I want to create a webservice that accepts the 10 input parameters and
returns the two return values.
My C# programmer here says that webservice methods can only return 1 value
per method. Is that right? Though I haven't ever created a webservice, I

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
