DOM XML Compile Problem

I'm having trouble compiling DOM XML support into PHP 4.4.2 on CentOS
4.3. Everytime I attempt to compile, it spits back this:

....
chmod 755 /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so
[activating module `php4' in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf]
Installing PHP CLI binary: /usr/local/bin/
Installing PHP CLI man page: /usr/local/man/man1/
Installing PEAR environment: /usr/local/lib/php/
[PEAR] Archive_Tar - already installed: 1.3.1
[PEAR] Console_Getopt - already installed: 1.2
[PEAR] HTML_Template_I T- already installed: 1.1
[PEAR] Net_UserAgent_D etect- already installed: 2.0.1
[PEAR] PEAR - already installed: 1.4.9
Wrote PEAR system config file at: /usr/local/etc/pear.conf
You may want to add: /usr/local/lib/php to your php.ini include_path
*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x0953a080 ***
make[1]: *** [install-pear-packages] Aborted
make: *** [install-pear] Error 2

And then crashes Apache (2.0.59). I remove DOM XML from the compile
command line, and everything works fine again.

Here is the configure command I am using:
../configure --with-apxs2 --with-curl --with-curl-dir=/usr/local/lib
--with-gd --with-gd-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-freetype
--with-freetype-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-gettext
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-kerberos --with-mcrypt
--with-mhash --with-mysql=/usr --with-pear
--with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-xml --with-zlib
--with-zlib-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-zip --with-openssl
--enable-bcmath --enable-calendar --enable-ftp --enable-magic-quotes
--enable-sockets --enable-track-vars --enable-mbstring
--enable-memory-limit --with-imap=/usr/local/imap-2004g --with-gettext
--with-dom=/usr/lib

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Python's InteractiveInterpreter uses the built-in compile function. According to the ref. manual, it doesn't seem to concern about the encoding of the source string. When I hand in an unicode object, it is encoded in utf-8 automatically. It can be a problem when I'm building an interactive environment using "compile", with a different...

Hi, I have a question about how to put redundant information in data structures, initialized at compile time. This is often necessary for performance reasons and can't be done at run time (data structures are read only) Ideally one should be able to put the redundant information there automatically so no mistakes are possible, but in a...

Hello (and sorry for my English), I downloaded the VideoCapture module on the http://videocapture.sourceforge.net/ site. I tested it with a webcam and that functions. Now I want to compile his file .cpp (vidcap.cpp). Thereafter, the idea is to be able to modify the code to include my own modifications.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
