Here comes another small question from me :-)
I am curious as to how I should approach this issue. I would just
want to parse simple text and maybe perhaps tables in the future.
Would I have to save the word file and open it in a text editor? That
would kind of....suck... Has anyone else tackled this issue?
Thanks,

I'm trying to do invoke the mail merge functionality of MS Word from a
Python script. The situation is that I have a template Word document,
and a record that I've generated in Python, and I want to output a new
Word .doc file with the template filled in with the record I've
generated.
(To refresh your memory, in Word a mailmerge is achieved by a) under
Tools -> Letters and Mailings, check off Show Mail Merge Toolbar; b)
open a document...

Ok, this code works fine on the Web server machine. But when I try to run it
via any other clients on the LAN, I keep getting scripting errors (the MS
Word Document never opens.) Do I have to configure the server somehow to
allow it to share this MS Word doc?
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE=VBScript>
Dim objWord
Sub Btn1_onclick()
call
OpenDoc("http://WEBSERVER/ClerkOfCourt/CourtLetters/TestTemplate.doc")

I wrote a program in VC++ that generates a text file report. I would
like to get this report data into a word document that my company uses.
I could use bookmarks for reference in the document. Is there some
boiler plate code for C++ or VC++ that I could use to edit and add my
data to the bookmark locations in the MS Word doc file?
After I have updated the MS Word file I need to print it to a network

I figured my first step is to install the win32 extension, which I did,
but I can't seem to find any documentation for it. A couple of the links
on Mark Hammond's site don't seem to work.
Anyway, all I need to do is search in the Word document for certain
strings and either delete them or replace them. Easy enough, if only I
knew which function, etc. to use.
Hope someone can push me in the right direction.

I need to locate a particular table in a document. I cannot hardcode the table number since it could be different in every doc.
I do have some header text that comes right before it consistently, though. So, I tried to find that text, and then move to the next table.
Then I need to add a row to the table which already has 4 columns. I need to maintain the old content of the table too.
I think I am pretty close, but having a little trouble...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
