I'm trying to install MySQLdb 0.9.2 so I can access my MySQL database from
python under Solaris 8. I found the notes on changing the include and lib
paths and it seems to find them okay, but when I run 'python setup.py
build', I get these errors:

Hi all,
I am trying to install DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Server Edition v8.1
(db81eeso.zip) on a Blade2000 running Solaris 2.8 (with latest Recommended
patches installed) with 512M RAM and 600M Swap .
I can invoke the Java GUI interface (db2setup) to install . The options I
chose is a typical installation , 32bit instance without tool catalog .

Hi
A have a very annoying problem. I have written java strored procedures for
DB2 v8.1. Their deployement and usage is fine as long as the server is a
Windows one. But under Solaris 8 and Linux RH, the call of sqlj.install_jar
fails. It correctly create a directiory with the correct schema name, but
the jar is not copied in it. The error is "Permission Denied" SQLSTATE 38501
and in the log, we can see that calling sqlejReadJar fails in...

Hi ,
I faced a very strange problem when I unzip a zip file on my solaris workstation. Actually I wanted to transfer a folder, say it TEST which contains some sub-folders inside it from windows to solaris machine. So I zipped this folder to TEST.ZIP on my windows machine.
Then from my windows machine, I started ftp from command prompt and connected to my solaris machine and I copied this TEST.ZIP folder using put command to my solaris...
