Sun.freeware.co m doesn't have any PHP binaries, but if you have Solaris 8
there is a Companion CD available from http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris...are/index.html
which should have PHP on it. Otherwise you will probably need to compile
the source.

So, I download the latest "stable" tar for perl (5.8.7) and try to compile
it on the Solaris 8 (SPARC) box that I administrate. I try all sorts of
different switches, but I can't get it to compile. I need it to be
compiled with threads.
Anyone have any wisdom on how best to do this?
Here's a transcript of my latest attempt. It's long; you might want to
skip to the bottom, where I try "make" and the fatal errors start

I have a AIX backup of DB2 (8.2) and i was told i needed to have a unix

installed Solaris 10 (x86 hardware). I copied the DB2.tar file to a
