I am trying to convert an HTML table into a list of name-value pairs,
one pair per field in the table. I believe my XSLT is correct, but
I've tried both Xalan and Saxon, which both fail with different
results. Below I've listed my HTML input, my expected XML output, my
XSLT, and the actual output from both Saxon and Xalan. Thanks in
advance.

I'm looking for examples of websites (preferably large and well known
companies, not personal sites or developer-to-developer sites) that
use XML and XSLT as a technology platform from which to store and
render web content.
Reason being that we are considering migrating our website content to
XML and using XSLT to transform the content into html. Currently lack
of browser support for XSLT has held us back. For example a
significant...

I am currently in the process of evaluating the performance hits of moving
to the .NET platform for our application. I created a sample project that
loads the transforms the same XML and XSLT in COM, COM using interop and in
C# and then transforms it to HTML. I also tried concatenating the XML and
XSL as a string and then loading it to the DOM once as opposed to loading
the DOM with the appendChild() method. I see that the C# version is...

Hi folks,
I'm looking at moving a large base of C++ code to .Net under tight time
constraints. The code runs in mission-critical environments, and I am
extremely concerned about the loader lock problem and the potential for
deadlocks.
After pouring over the available information, and trying a few experiments,
I am still left with a few questions and issues I hope someone out there can
shed some light on.

I received no answers about this the first time I posted, so I will try
again. My inability to decipher an MSDN topic may find others who have the
same inability and someone who can decipher and explain it.
I have some questions about the instructions for creating a mixed mode DLL
in the MSDN topic "Converting Managed Extensions for C++ Projects from Pure
Intermediate Language to Mixed Mode" in the "Managed Extensions for C++
Reference"....

Hello, I believe I have uncovered a bug in the .Net XSLT engine to do
with 'for' loops in XSLT.
Here are the steps to reproduce it:
-Create A new webform project.
-Add the xml file 'errorexample.xml' - it is shown at the bottom
-Add the xslt file 'errorexample.xslt' - it is shown at the bottom
-Add a label into the WebForm1.aspx designer and stretch it so it is
large, give it the ID of Output1.
-Import the following namespaces in...

Let's say:
if (XMLHttpRequestObject.readyState == 4 &&
XMLHttpRequestObject.status == 200)
{
// Now I got an XML object here
var xmlDocument = XMLHttpRequestObject.responseXML;
// next I have dealing with XML file tags used DOM.
var options = xmlDocument.getElementsByTagNameNS(null,"myXMLTag");
doMyFunctionWithHTMLDOM(options);

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone out there knows if it is possible to convert
a CSV to xml using XSLT?
I've seen a lot of examples of xml to CSV, but is it possible to go
back the other way?
I don't want to have to use some external program or script to parse
the csv first if possible

I have a small C++/CLI application which calls an unmanaged lib.
It seems like I can't use /clr:pure and link with the unmanaged lib (LNK1313
error).
The problem I have is that compiling with /clr adds a dependency on several
msvc*.dll:s which adds some unwanted complexity to the installation.
Is it possible to avoid the msvc*.dll dependency without explicit p/invoke?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
