class problems

Hi,

I have a class defined in a php file. But I believe there goes something
wrong. As Output I get the value 1
When I print the variabels in the constructor i get the last value which I
assign in the constructor.
Can somebody help me to found where's the problem?
Thx,

class validatePages{

//variabelen

var $aantal;
var $afwerk;
var $afdruk;
Function validatePages($ hoev, $afw, $afd)
/*constructor
*/

{
$this->$afwerk = $afw;
$this->$afdruk = $afd;
$this->$aantal = $hoev;

print ("hoev" . $this->$aantal . "-" . "afwer" . $this->$afwerk . "afd" .
$this->$afdruk);

//here i get 50 50 50

}

Function getRealPages()

{

return (int)($this->$aantal/$this->$afdruk);

}

}

I have an object in another php file

<?php

include ('validatePages .php');
$validate = new validatePages(5 0,12,1);

$nummer = $validate->getRealPages() ;

?>

Proper syntax is $this->variablename , not $this->$variablenam e.

The following may strike many of you as just plain silly, but it represents the kind of delelima I find myself in when trying to make a design decision. This really is a toy project written for the purpose of learning to work with C++. It therefore makes some sense for me to give the situation the amount of consideration presented below. To be quite honest, I'm amazed at the amount there is to say about such a seemingly simple...

When adopting the coding style of the standard C++ library, you often run into naming problems because class names are lower case, and member functions do not have get/set prefixes. For example: - The class stringstream has a member function "string stringstream::str()". It would be more logical to name it "string stringstream::string()". - The class ios_base has a member function "locale ios_base::getloc()". It would be more logical to...

I need a fundamental explanation of Class Modules - something suitable for newbies. Access 2.0 didn't seem to focus on them very much. Now that I'm using Access 97, it seems they're everywhere. thx N advance.

Hi! I'm developing a very simple chat application in VB.NET and I've stumbled into a problem. For simplicity I'm using the TcpListener and TcpClient classes. However, at one point I discovered that I want to use the protected Active and Client properties of the TcpClient class. To do this I made my own derived class: Public Class MyTcpClient Inherits TcpClient

Hi All, We have done a object oriented design for a system which will create a class multiply inherited by around 1000 small and medium sized classes. I would be greatful if you can help me with the following: Can this create any problems with GNU g++ compilation, linking etc? What would be the impact to the performance of the system? Anything else we have to consider?

Using VS 2003, I am trying to take a class that I created to create new variable types to handle nulls and track changes to standard variable types. This is for use with database variables. This tells me if a variable has changed, give me the original and current value, and whether the current value and original value is/was null or not. This one works fine but is recreating the same methods over and over for each variable type. ...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
