Have website login form check a forum database to verify registration

What is best ready-made forum system, if I want to use same user-management for the www-site? Does phpBB allow this? If the forum has registration form/page, mysql-database of users etc, I suppose I mostly need just a login.php script, that I can use for my main site? Best would ofcourse be if the forum includes ready made scripts for that

Hi friends, I'm writing a login.php script. I stored the password in mysql db as encrypted format using md5. (It's in registration.php and it works well). There is a no problem in registering new users. When the login form exists, the password and confirm password didn't match always. It shows only "Password didn't match, plz try again".
