I tried to install php as apache module.
Previously it has been cgi. WIn 98 is
not supported but cgi worked fine, anyway.
I tried to everything according to
instructions in php.net, but
still it didn't work.
- I put php4ts.dll to windows/system32 directory.

Hello, can anyone help me, I am new to PHP.
I am trying to set up the Apache Server for PHP (in Windows XP), but when I
ad the line:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php-4.2.3-Win32/sapi/php4apache2.dll
(in httpd.conf), then the Apache Server refuces to start (I get "The
requested operation has failed" msg).

I am able to install Apache in my XP home edition.
I did put a very simple index.html /apache/htdocs/index.html
and when I type in http://localhost/index.html, I get this error :
Not Found.
Please tell me where should I put the index.html?
