After trying to manually reverse-engineer a piece of code i've been handed
using Visio I figure someone must have developed a tool that can do
automatically in 5 minutes what took me 2 hours.
What I need is a tool that i can tell to "start with this method call, and
show me what happens" . The tool would then go through the sourcecode...

Hi,
I support an enterprise web application (IE client) built in VB6, with about
200 classes, serving about 7000 users, running on 3 clustered servers. I
need to incorporate web reporting for the first time, so I am interested in
learning what web reporting options are out there, and the pros and cons of
each. In general I need to...

Hi all,
I have an ASP.NET 2.0 website in Visual Studio 2005 (ie I open it with File
| Open Web Site...). I have put XML comments in the source code in the
App_Code directory (with <summary> tags, etc) and I want to turn these into
XML files that can then be run through NDoc (along with app_code.dll) to
produce help files. I've even found...

I have .cs source file with a bunch of public and internal members
(classes, methods, enums ...) in it.
I want to extract declarations of public members into separate file
so that I can distribute this file among users as documentation.
Is there such tool to extract public members form .cs source file ?

I have tried NDoc 1.3.1 - dues not support .net 2.0 assemblies (have
also tried the hack involving a config file using the <supportedruntime
version="v2.0.50727"> to no avail - crashes) as well as a beta NDoc 2005
(can initiate conversion from 2005 solution but also crashes -
possibly buggy).
Can anyone suggest anything I can use to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
