Hi,
I've just taught myself C++, so I haven't learnt much about style or
the like from any single source, and I'm quite styleless as a result.
But at the same time, I really want nice code and I go to great
lengths to restructure my code just to look concise and make it more
manageable.
When I say this, I'm also referring to the way I write my functions.
It seems to me sometimes that I shouldn't have many void functions
accepting...

I've spent a couple of days on this and I'm to the "bang-my-head
'gainst the monitor and babble in tongues" mode.
First - SuSE Pro 9.3, Linux 2.6.11.4-21.7, Apache 2.0.53, PHP 4.3.10
I have sendmail running on the local server - mail from unix (1) mail
and mutt work locally on the server. This is, specifically, sending
mail to a localhost user or another user off on the net somewhere
works fine.

Hi all,
I've created the below function to automatically send me an alert in outlook
when someone completes various forms on my website.
The problem though is that mail reports that I have only 1 of the 3 required
parameters defined!
I have no idea where this is going wrong, because as far as I can tell I
have defined all 3 parameters! Can anyone spot the problem?

I'm doing a bit of work for a guy and on his system the mail() function
always returns false, but the mail is sent.
Anyone come across this? Any ideas what is causing it and how to fix
it?

How do I get this to work? It always returns False, even though I can see
"This is True!" in the debug window. Do I have to invoke functions
differently than subs?
Private Delegate Function IsLvItemCheckedDelegate(ByVal ClientID As Integer)
As Boolean
Private Function IsLvItemChecked(ByVal ClientID As Integer) As Boolean
If lvServers.InvokeRequired = True Then

Hi
Can anyone help me with some asp code , I changed the code to use CDO.message instead of the old cdont.sys to send mail from a ASP webpage which works fine.
Our problem is that when we send mail externally to a internet email site like Gmail the PDF is sent but is corrupted because CDOSYS ends up using binary encoding
rather than Base64 encoding when creating the attachment. More information here: Anthonys Code
My knowledge of ASP...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
