i recently upgraded from Windows 2000 to Windows XP and now i can't seem to
get error reporting to work in PHP. i don't know if i've simply forgotten
how to do it, or if there's a bug associated with XP, but i absolutely
cannot get PHP to display any errors in my browser. it's driving me nuts.
i was able to do it under 2000. i remember having to add a line or two of
code to the top of each page for which i wanted to display errors.
here's what i'm trying right now and it's just not working:
ini_set(display _errors, "1");
error_reporting (E_ALL);
the only output i get is a little bit of HTML with no text in the body. what
am i doing wrong?
P.S. i develop on multiple machines, so i can't just modify PHP.ini. the
code has to be portable. 1 3711

My php logs are coming up empty. I have done all I can think of, and
all that made sense to me. Can someone take a look at my php.ini
please and tell me what you think may be the problem.
I double-checked the path to my error log. It is in
/var/www/logs/php_error_log
Thanks. :)

need the straight dope on domxml for Windows !
Is it bundled or are DLL's necessary ?
Also, what changes are needed in php.ini ?
My setup: WXP, PHP 5.0.2 as an Apache Module, libxml v2.6.11
or so it says.
I see there's been quite a bit of posting on mailing.www.php-dev Re:
phpinfo() mis-reporting domxml enabled.
I had a post re: this also on: php.windows

webapps directory(to /webapps/bob , /webapps/sue) and i have added the
folders bob, sue in my server.xml(in the context path).
When i am trying to run jsp files from my browser, it works fine. But,
the following jsp files reports some exceptions which is quite hard to
understand. Here is...

Hello,
I have managed (with your help!) to make a working XSLT stylesheet; it
works fine locally (Windows Apache + PHP with Sablotron 1.0), but it
fails on the remote host (FreeBSD Apache + PHP with Sablotron 1.0) with
the following:
Warning: Sablotron error on line 1: XML parser error 4: not well-formed

Hi,
I support an enterprise web application (IE client) built in VB6, with about
200 classes, serving about 7000 users, running on 3 clustered servers. I
need to incorporate web reporting for the first time, so I am interested in
learning what web reporting options are out there, and the pros and cons of
each. In general I need to generate reports with XML documents as inputs,
and make them available to all web users.
I am partial...

Dear forum members,
I am trying to compile C++ code under MS Visual Studio .NET 2003,
which references the latest Xerces C++ release library (2.6.0). This
Xerces release was made available recently by the Apache
organization.
I've defined a system variable on windows as follows:
XERCESCROOT: <...>\xerces-c_2_6_0-windows_nt-msvc_60

We are trying to implement Windows Error Reporting from within our VB.Net
application. Basically we want to replace the standard unhandled exception
message we use with the Windows Error Reporting message. This will provide
our users the ability to send the crash report to Microsoft, which in turn
will allow us to get it.
We did a search for Visual Studio help to see what that might turn up and
came across the “ReportFault”...

Hi,
I am in the middle of writing an image upload script and am limiting
the size of uploads via upload_max_filesize. This all seems to be
working well, and if I try and upload a bigger file then I get an
UPLOAD_ERR_INI_SIZE sat in $_FILES. All hunkey
dorey.
However, in my testing there are one or two large files that cause
problems. PHP appears to abort the upload early as it should, but when

Here is the output from phpinfo() on my laptop running windows vista.
As you can see mysql is mentioned several times in the output. I'm
not sure why i get this error. Php scripts that i save in the htdocs
folder seem to work as long as mysql is not called. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
