Like, I know if several checkboxes have the same name, I can get the
ones that were checked after submit with a request.form("name") and
maybe do a split(request.form("name"),",") to cycle through them.
I tried the same thing with textfields (input type=text), but doesn't
seem to work the same.
Do they behave differently?

What is the difference between the Page_Init and Page_Load events? When I
was debugging my code, they both seemed to get triggered on every postback.
I am assuming that there is some difference, and I would like to know what
it is so that I can take advantage of it in my code. Thanks.

I am having a really hard time trying to get some client side code hooked up
in VS2005, ASP 2.0.
The code is in an .inc file (vbscript). The first problem I am encountering
is the ASP.NET page doesn't like vbscript and throws fits about the syntax.
Second, the page throws fits about the server side code tags (<% ...
%>),...are these supported anymore? Third, when I set the onclick event of a
client side HTML button it does not recognize...

The Concepts and Confusions of Pre-fix, In-fix, Post-fix and Fully
Functional Notations
Xah Lee, 2006-03-15
Let me summarize: The LISP notation, is a functional notation, and is
not a so-called pre-fix notation or algebraic notation.
Algebraic notations have the concept of operators, meaning, symbols
placed around arguments. In algebraic in-fix notation, different

My windows form "Form1" has one Button "button1" and one TextBox "textBox1".
When I click button1, it do a job for each file in a directory. The job
include some platform invoke call. Before processing a file, I set
textBox1's Text property as filename of the file processed, and call
this->refresh() to refresh the form.
Every thing seems OK.
But, if the process time for some file is a little long (say 10 seconds) and
during processing...

Text Processing with Emacs Lisp
Xah Lee, 2007-10-29
This page gives a outline of how to use emacs lisp to do text
processing, using a specific real-world problem as example. If you
don't know elisp, first take a gander at Emacs Lisp Basics.
HTML version with links and colors is at:

Later edit:
Too complex:
The only thing I should know is:
The submit button's NAME (and value) will only be sent if that particular button was used to submit the form, so you should be able to check that in the server side script.
Rest is history:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
