I screwed up the permissions on my database. Basically I revoked all
the permissions of the root account on the mysql table.
To try to fix this, I went through all of the instructions here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...rmissions.html
running:
mysqld-nt.exe --defaults-file="C:\Progra m Files\MySQL\MyS QL Server
5.0\my.ini" --init-file=C:\mysql-init.txt
except in the mysql-init.txt file I put this:
GRANT ALL ON mysql.* TO root

Hello
I am using version 4.0.12-nt of MySQL and when I hit the enter key
rapidly I can't connect to the database. The result is a message is
returned to me from mysql that says I can't connect because the
database is down. If I only hit the 'enter' key once (to execute the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
