I am looking to get started using PHP and I am looking for a nice GUI to
use.
Basically I have been programing in Macromedia Director, and Macromedia
Flash for years now, and I have gotten spoiled by having auto code
formating, basic error checking, and a nice library of syntax with help
featured attached to them for when I am trying to hunt down the perfect
piece of syntax or trying to make sure I have used a piece of syntax
correctly.
Any suggestions? I know there a lot of PHP interfaces out there, and I have
no idea which ones are worth looking into.
Thanks tons for any advice you guys have for me.

A week or two ago, I asked here about porting Python to C. Got some good
answers (Note 1) but now I've got another question. Actually, more a
request for clarification of a topic that both the Python tutorial and
docs leave a touch murky to my understanding.
Dictionaries/"dict" types...
Am I understanding/interpreting correctly when I go with the idea that a
"dict" variable can be looked at as (effectively) two parallel arrays?...

Good evening,
I am trying to locate a standard (commonly accepted) XML schema for
managing documents. What want to know is if someone has already
created an XML schema for describing the pertinent data about a
journal article (title, author(s), journal name, publication date,
etc).
If anyone can help me out here, I'd really appreciate it. You can
email me at trekcelt @ yahoo.com.

I am trying to write a function which provides my users with a file
filter. The filter used to work just using the VB "Like" comparision,
but I can't find the equivilant in C#. I looked at RegEx.IsMatch but
it behaves quite differently. Is there a way I can mimic the DOS
filtering of filenames (eg. "*.*" or "*" returns all files, "*.xls"
returns all excel files, "workbook*" returns all files begining with
"workbook" etc)?
thanks in...

Tom,
It sounds to me like ASP, not ASP.NET is handling the
request for WebForm1.aspx. This is most likely an IIS
config issue that may have been caused by order of
installation or reinstallation, or possibly even
something that happened in IIS before .NET was
installed.
Here is a way to prove or disprove my theory:

Hello,
I'm trying to access a stored procedure on our AS400 that is written
in RPG. I know that the stored procedure works (I've called it from
an RPG program on the AS400), and I know that the connection to the
AS400 is good, because this same ASP page is reading data via SQL.
However, when I try to call the stored procedure, I can't tell if
anything is actually happening. All that I know is that the end
result is not being changed, so...

Hi there,
I am trying to run a report using a parameter for where the user chooses a
month from a combo box. Then on the report, I want it to compare the month to
a date field and choose only those dates with the month chosen from the
parameter form.
Basically, its to see who's birthdays are coming up. So on the parameter form
you choose November, so then I want the report to display all the kids who's
birthdays are in November.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
